1and1 hosting hidden charge you should know before you buy.

I bought 1and1 hosting as recommended by my friend because of a cheap promo code where you can avail a hosting and free domain for  $11.88 for 1 whole year and it's a very good deal!

They billed me after 3 days I think and off I go setting up my website. They have a different Cpanel of their own by the way, not used to it but it's just as good because I can still see the same features I got when I used Cpanel.

Then after 1 month, I was surprised to receive a billing for $14 for a website builder plus. It's payable for 1 year so you will be billed with $3 something every 3 months. Obviously, I didn't order this, I can't remember ordering a website builder plus and when I reviewed my purchase, there really wasn't any website builder plus at all. And my billing of $11.88 dollar is proof, because that's the only thing I really paid for 3 days after my purchase.

I contacted their support via email and asked about it, their answer was this:

"Our records show that the Website Builder Plus has been in the account since creation. Cancellation of this item will take down any website that was created and mainted through the additional feature and any data in said website would be lost."

They said that if I don't want the website builder plus, it would also mean cancelling my domain and hosting for one year and that I have to confirm this if this is the case.

Of course I didn't agree right away because this wouldn't happen at all if they didn't added it.

So it turns out that they automatically added the website builder feature when I made my purchase and then they billed me 1 month after for it. Wow. Total scammer move there. Sneak the product, then surprise you with a billing 1 month after so there's nothing you can't do, otherwise they'll take down your entire website and hosting. If that's not scamming, I don't know what is.

And when I pointed out to them that they're the ones who added it anyway and not me, and that they should take the "website build plus" down and leave my original purchase of domain and hosting alone, they suddenly sent me an email of a credit refund for that $14 or so.

No notice of whether they'll also take my website down or not but I don't want to work with them now anyway, not with this shady business because if they can do this to us once, no reason they can do it over and over again specially when our website is bigger and we'll have no choice but to give in.

I hope they can still refund my $11 though but if not, then it's theirs.

This is an honest review based on my experience. And if any says this is not true, then I don't mind sending them a screen shot or forward them the email replies that I got from them.

Take care when buying your hosting guys.

A Mike Ross real life story

I can't believe it when I was reading the entire story of the case in a news article that was just decided upon by the Philippines Supreme Court. Yes, this person I'm referring to is a Filipino and his story is not exactly like Mike Ross from Suits but it's definitely close.

In August, 2012, respondent Richard Caronan was arrested by the police on cases of estafa. It turns out that he's using the name of his sibling as Atty. Patrick Caronan, and presented himself in clients as professional lawyer.

The facts of this case is that of a classic swindler who presents himself in front of clients as a professional when in truth and in fact, he is not.

What's I find very interesting in this case is the fact that Richard Caronan never really finished his undergrad study. But even so, he was able to enter into a law school.

Not only that, he passed the Bar exams and practiced law before he got arrested!

He was even attending MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) classes required for lawyers.

Sounds familiar?

His brother, through their mother, found out that he passed the bar and used his name but he didn't give too much attention to it until he was summoned by the police and questioned him regarding criminal activities.

His brother eventually filed a case against him in fear of what might happen to him next if Richard continue using his name.

Richard is now disbarred from the practice of law and faces possible criminal charges.

Still, I think that what the world will always remember about him is that he never even finished his undergrad studies and he still managed to enter into a law school, pass the bar and practiced law like a boss.

Top list of methods you shouldn't do on how to make money on Facebook

First off, this is my own list and opinion about these methods. Ayt?

Why did I say you shouldn't do? Because it takes a long time before you can earn money from them. These methods are legit and really good but you'll lose interest right away before you get to the good part where you'll start earning. Am I right or am I right? I am. Right?

Now I don't want to bore you with the boring condescending stuffs that supports what I just said, let's go straight to the point and talk about what these methods and I'll make them very quick for you.

1. Build your mailing list.

I think this could be the most boring of all. So what is a mailing list or the definition of a mailing list. For me, this is it in a nutshell. A mailing list is a list of emails of people subscribed to receive something in their emails from you. Period. You thought it's something special didn't you? Now the thing about this is why would people subscribe to you and want to get more spam emails from you in the first place? No one, unless it's from an authority site like Yahoo or something. And you earn from this by sending them things to buy. What the? That's right. That's the bottom line for email list. Subscription for content you love plus special offers being pushed in your inbox everyday.

2. Promote your book or ebook.

... Seriously. Who has their own book they can promote in Facebook? Oh don't get me wrong, I am positive that there are lots of people out there who has their own stories online and stuffs that you can probably sell in Facebook. But if you're just starting out in earning online, how long do you think this will take you before you have your own book, readers, fans, your own blog or Facebook page where you can sell your book? Frankly it's really going to take a while specially you still have to eat, drink sleep and keep your self sane because it's gonna be a long while before you start earning something. Ha ha.

3. Market affiliate products

Now this, this is the real deal. I'll even tell you a quick guide on how to market affiliate products on Facebook right here, right now. The gist of it is this, you sign up for an account on Facebook. Where you want to create a Page is up to you. Then sign up from an affiliate Network like I don't know, Clickbank. Choose what product you want to upload, get your affiliate link, then spam it on your Facebook profile or page! For each person who visits your link and buys the product, you get a commission from it. Yehey!!! Now who the ef do you think would want to do that out of your 75 friends right? Whoa wait, you mean I'm right? You only have that few friends in Facebook? What a loser. Kidding. Your friends no matter how many are they many not always be interested in the stuff you're gonna sell anyway. They\ll just see it as Spam. So why bother?

Now to be honest these three methods are working out there for some. Just try not to plunge yourself on these methods expecting to earn money right away. I'm serious there are other methods out there that can help you earn even just pennies for a start. Small but still those are earnings. Marketing affiliate products is a great way to start since you can do this even without your own website. You just really have to promote the products in Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms. Just expect that they'll ban you right away so just a tip, don't use your own main personal Facebook account.

How to workout without working out.

A fascinating thought isn't it? Frankly I was wondering the same thing because I don't have a lot of time to exercise because of work. Aren't we all time constrained when it comes to working out for ourselves? I always look for home exercises in Youtube that I can follow every once in a while when I got extra time since I can't go into the gym until I thought about the same phrase, "How to workout without working out". It sounds ridiculous but I searched for it in the internet anyway. To my surprise, there is such a thing!

That's when I stumbled to Subliminal Health and Fitness Videos. There's a few video about this product and I watched the reviews. To be honest I was really hooked but I never saw any other unbiased review of the product from other customers. It's kinda frustrating actually since I really want to buy it but I need to make sure of it first.

But for a few bucks in exchange for the improvement of my health and nutrition, I bought it. What's there to lose right when I know I'm already losing a lot whenever I don't workout.

My honest review about Workout Without Working Out -- Subliminal Health & Fitness Videos is this. The videos are top notch. It's amazing how the instructors we're able to come up with a solution to the daily hassle and bustle we go through our daily lives when working. I didn't lose weight in a week or so. I think products that promise that kind of thing is a complete BS. Only surgery can make you lose weight that quickly. However, I can feel the sudden spurt of energy in my body ever since I started doing the exercises provided in their videos. It's really amazing!

It's actually easy and doesn't take too much of your time and you're really gonna sweat a lot. Like what they say, it's subliminal fitness videos that goes through your mind and remind you about doing it whenever you get extra time for yourself.

It's not a scam or a ripoff. It worked for me and there's no reason it won't work for you. It's what it say it is and that's what's great about it.

Are there hidden charges when withdrawing money from Paypal to BPI and from your BPI Easy Savers ATM?

Well, I wouldn't say that there is.

I would say that there is a catch though.

When you are using BPI Easy Savers ATM, there's always a 5 pesos charge each time you withdraw. But that's okay. I think that's the price for not having a maintaining balance. But BPI would say that it's how they help their customers. If there's a 5 pesos charge each time you withdraw, you won't be tempted to withdraw very often. And thus the name BPI Easy Saver's Account. It's up to you whether you want to take that seriously or what. Lol!

For Paypal, no hidden charges but here are the things that you're gonna pay for if you're withdrawing money.

This will be in two parts. Withdrawing money from your Paypal account to your RCBC myWallet Visa Card and to your BPI Easy Savers ATM card.

Withdrawing from Paypal to RCBC.
Cost is 250 pesos and your money from your Paypal will arrive in your RCBC card after a week but not more than ten days.

Withdrawing from Paypal to BPI.
Costs are
50 pesos Paypal charge.
200 pesos to your bank as Remittance.
You're receiving your money within 4 business days.
Sometimes, if I withdraw money on Monday or Tuesday, I receive the payment after 36 hours only even when it says in Paypal that the money should arrive within 2-4 business days.

So there you go!

If there's anything wrong with the rates I mentioned, maybe they've already been changed or something, please comment about it here.

The same goes if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Cheers!

What's the difference between a credit card and a debit card?

Well let me just share how they work.

Credit card is like having a card that has a specific amount of money that you can borrow anytime for purchasing or withdrawing money. Every purchase you make or money you withdraw will be considered a debt that you'd have to pay at the end of the month.

Debit card on the other hand needs to be loaded with money first before you can use it.

So if you want to purchase online using credit card, you can go ahead and just pay for it at the end of the month on your bank.

If you want to purchase something online using your debit card, you have to load it with money first.

That's how simple it is.

Bpi Easy Savers Verify Paypal Account

So can we verify our Paypal account through BPI Easy Savers Savings Account Card?

Let me be straight forward with this. Paypal would only accept cards that has a Master Card or Visa logo.

BPI has the logo of Cirrus so the answer is no, you can't verify your Paypal account using BPI Easy Savers Savings Account. So far no one else have been able to up to this date.

If you want to verify your Paypal account then might as well start off with RCBC My Wallet Visa Card for 150 pesos only.

Please leave a comment if you find this helpful.
